How To Find Your Kindle Email Address

One of the great things about the Kindle app is that you can send books outside of Kindle to your app, as long as th÷y are the correct format. Also you can loan Kindle books to your friends. But, to do all that you need your Kindle Email Address. Now I have a Kindle Fire HD 10 but I'm pretty sure this works for every Kindle app because I discovered this while playing around with the app.

1. Go to the bottom right corner of your app and click on the "more" option.

2. Go to settings

3. Scan down the page till you find Send- to- Kindle E-mail Address.

This will be your username plus some random letters and numbers @kindle.com. There is supposed to be a way to change your Kindle Email address, but I haven't figured out how yet.

Baby For The Bosshole by Nadia Lee

I read Marrying My Billionaire Boss by Nadia Lee a few months ago. I really wanted more surprise baby with the boss. This book did not disappoint.

Amy has worked for Emmett for nearly two years. After one particularly bad day, she decides to give him a piece of her mind. What happens is she walks in on him pleasuring himself while moaning her name. Trying to make a point, she ends up hooking up with him. Soon they embark on a no strings attached fling. But, the waters are about to get pretty murky, with a surprise pregnancy.

The side plot of Emmett's Dad wanting a grandchild, but being a man child himself is pretty hilarious.

I give this book ❤❤❤❤❤

My Brother's Best Friend by Hazel Kelly

I forgot I had this book on my Kindle! As it is a Brother's Best Friend book, I thought to cleanse my palette of Regency Romance.

Margot has been in love with Landon her whole life, but he only ever pushes her away. Once the both live in NYC and work for the same company, sparks start to fly. Landon knows he wants forever with Margot, but is it love? And what happens when Margot's brother finds out.

I liked the double plot twist. Landon groveling was amazing! As was his declaring his love for her to his brother.

My Best Friend's Brother by Hazel Kelly

Right up there with Brother's Best Friend is Best Friend's Brother, for me. Also this is a Friend's To Lovers romance as well.

Andi has been best friends with Izzy and Shane since they were seven. Now Shane and Andi are in the same college and Shane comes to Andi's rescue when her boyfriend turns violent. The whole situation jars Shane into admitting that he has feelings for Andi, and he sets out to prove how good they could be together. Andi wants Shane as well but she is afraid of Shane's twin sister's reaction when she finds out.

When Shane is protective of Andi, it's positively thrilling.

Big, Bossy Trouble by Lilian Monroe

I read Big, Bossy Mistake last year and it sent me on a nanny surprise pregnancy kick. When I stumbled on this book and realized it was in the same series and the same trope, I had to read it.

Layla has been in love with Leif for 6 years, but he didn't even remember their first meeting. Now he needs a temporary nanny for his daughter and she chose Layla. But keeping his hands off the nanny ends up being a bigger challenge than he knew. When he realizes he is in love with her, she discovers a big secret he is keeping from her, just as she finds out she is pregnant with his baby.

The history between these two is amazing! Even though he doesn't remember that it was actually her from their first meeting, he does remember it and it left an impression on him.

My Very Bridgerton Post

Bridgerton on Netflix became a sensation and introduced a lot of people to historical romance novels. Some people (myself included) had to read the books. Others just enjoyed the show as is, but it is undeniably a hit.

My own Bridgerton adventure began with the Netflix show. When I was 17 I read historical romance exclusively and that remained my go to (specifically regency when I could) until about 13 years ago when my husband got me an ereader and I started reading the contemporary romance available for free on the ereader platform. When Bridgerton came out I loved season one. I knew it was a book series, but I didn't know how to get them.

After season two I looked up book four on my Kindle, and I found it... for $8.00 usually I get Kindle Unlimited books or books for half that price. But, I really wanted Colin and Penelope's story so my husband told me I should buy it. I read it three times.

One thing was painfully obvious. The book and the show were different. I wanted to read the rest, but at $8.00 a book, I didn't know how I could afford them except once a month. Enter Hoopla. I've posted about Hoopla before, a library sponsored app that has books, movies, audiobooks, magazines, and music all for free. Admittedly I'd only used Hoopla for movies before, but someone on my Bridgerton Facebook group suggested getting the books from Hoopla, so I tried it. I was not disappointed. Not only does Hoopla have the entire series, they have audiobooks too.

I will probably purchase the books on Kindle still because I want to reread them and I'm not sure how long they will be available on Hoopla for.

There are a lot of differences between the books and the show. In my opinion the books are so much better. After seeing the differences between book two and season two, I'm worried about how Colin and Penelope's story will go.

I will continue to read the books and watch the show as to separate forms of entertainment.

His Miracle Baby by B.B. Hamel

I'm a suckered miracle pregnancies, remember Knocked Up By Mr. Wrong? Delicious.

Alexa runs into Elias at a work party, not realizing that he is her corrupt boss's son they soon hook up. A month later she tracks him down to let him know she is pregnant when she wasn't supposed to be able to. Elias had never been able to get that night out of his head, and the news that he is now going to be a father does not send him running. Determined to win Alexa and his baby at all cost. But, danger is brewing and Elias realizes he also has to keep Alexa safe.

This book has the couple up against the mafia, which I like a lot better than mafia romance. I also liked that Elias was determined to be better than his own father. Plus his job a a custom motorcycle mechanic is a very hot job.

Falling For His Best Friend's Sister by Alie Garnett

I was confused when I read the blurb for this book. Sister's best guy friend? Okay. But, I really like the sibling best friend trope so I figured, I'd give it a chance.

Mabel is mad at her twin sister, so she takes over her vacation to Florida pretending to be her. What she doesn't count on is her sister's best friend, Cliff, figuring out her secret. At first Cliff can't figure out why he is suddenly so attracted to his best friend, until a little sleuthing uncovers that it's actually her twin sister. It was only supposed to be a hook up during vacation, but soon Cliff realizes that isn't enough.

I love forbidden romance, brother's best friend is my absolute favorite. This was just a twist on that. I loved that the most drama the book had was the sister finding out.

I loved every part of this book, there was nothing cringe worthy about it.

I rate this book ❤❤❤❤❤

His Best Friend's Sister by Alina Parker

I solemnly swear I do not have a thing for my brother's best friend, but this trope is my favorite. I love the sneaking around and then getting caught. Of course, I like the ones where the brother is cool with it too. This is not one of those novels.

Nate has been out of the country for ten years. Zoe is totally over her crush on him. Except, when he returns to town, feelings return full force. And Nate feels it this time too. It was supposed to be no strings attached fun, until both fall in love. Then Zoe discovers she's pregnant and now it time to tell her brother.

The fight scene was epic! Both Zoe's brother's reaction and Nate's as well. I also loved Nate's response to learning of Zoe's pregnancy.

Again, this book was amazing from beginning to end, there wasn't a thing I wished would have gone differently.

I rate this book ❤❤❤❤❤

Terms And Conditions by Lauren Asher

When suffering from a book hangover it takes a special book to stand out and this Fake Marriage romance piqued my interest. It is also a Best Friend's Brother romance with a twist as the best friend is a man as well.

Declan is Iris's boss and he has a problem. He needs to get married and have a child to claim his inheritance. When his contract bride bails on him right before the engagement party, Iris steps in to take her place. Only neither of them planned on Declan falling in love. Now, despite himself, he needs to convince Iris to stay married to him.

It thrilled me to read a romance where the MMC is head over heels, but it's the FMC that is reluctant to fall in love. I also loved how Declan has an obsession with words from other languages.

There wasn't a thing I disliked about this book. However,  I'm going to mention here that this is a BWWM romance. I hope none of my readers are racist, but I do understand if the story is not relatable because of it.

I rate this book ❤❤❤❤❤

Books I Did Not Finish

Some books you soak up every last drop, other books you slam such so fast it would make your head spin. This is my own list of books I just could not finish.

Stepbrother Sugar Daddy
I really like Stepbrother romance, so I really wanted to like this one. But, about halfway through the book he spits in her mouth. Now, I'm not one to kink shame... if that's what floats your boat. I, however, do no want to see or read about it! Ick!

This Baby Daddy
This was a collection of secret baby stories. The first I inhaled, it was so good. The second got dicey it started having a lot of church references in it. I have put up with church references in a book because doesn't mess with the story. This one did though. It was a constant.  And it wasn't even Christian fiction! It still had spicy scenes. This book was so confusing! The book was about 70% done and I deleted the book from my Kindle, I couldn't take it anymore.

Breed Her Hard
With a hot title like that, I wanted to like this book. But the guy punishes the girl for "giving him blueballs" what the what? I had to slam on the brakes at that. In no way is it okay for a grown man (in this case 42) to complain about bluebells. So, I read this book till about 30% through before quitting it.

Pushing Patrick
I really wanted to like this book. The cover was gorgeous. The blurb drew you in. Even though I knew it was a HFN, two book series, I was prepared for a fun read. What I got was a bunch of mind games and it was not fun to read. I was about 60% through before it got to me. I couldn't take them going out with other people just to get the other person jealous. Who does that? It really bothered me and I finally had enough.

What book could you just not finish?

Hard Pass by K.G. Reuss

I have a book hangover, guys. I can't even. This book is marketed as an Enemies to Lovers trope, and it is. But, it is also a Brother's Best Friend, Vegas Wedding, and College Sports as well. I found this book in a Facebook ad. Is anyone else loving the book ads?

Travis and Lexy hate each other, but are forced to work together on a school project. Be fake married. But, a trip to Vegas with their friends leads to actually getting married, and Travis has to fight to stay married to Lexy.

The challenges between Travis and Lexy are great. Lexy's twin brother's reaction was priceless.

This book was amazing!

I rate it ❤❤❤❤❤

Romancing Mister Bridgerton by Julia Quinn

I have been watching Bridgerton in Netflix and wanted to know Colin and Penelope's story so badly and did not want to wait two years for season four to air. $8.00 is a lot for me to pay for a book but I had to know the story.

Colin has always seen Penelope as his sister's best friend. Until one day he sees her as more and he can't get enough of her. One day he follows her into the city and discovers a huge secret about her. Caring so much about her he tries to protect her, but some secrets are just too big to keep.

At first it was hard to read because it was so much different than the show, there are more characters in the book, there are characters not even there. I have to enthusiasticly admit that the book is better and I will probably be rereading it a time or two. Even though I still can't wait for season four on the Netflix show, I know it will never measure up to the book now.

I rate this ❤❤❤❤❤

Waste My Time by Kelsey Clayton

I found thisbook on my Kindle, just surfing. I was about 50% through the book before I realized that I'd read another book in the series. That was a brother's best friend book. This is a best friend's brother book.

Kennedy breaks up with Easton after he lied to her. He tries to win her back but keeps missing the mark. Then Kennedy finds out she is pregnant. Even though Easton did not react well at first, he steps up to try to be the parent his baby needs. Forces outside the couple conspire to keep them apart.

This book was dark and gritty, but not too much so. I read it all in six hours, but it is not a novella.  It's just that gripping.

The tendency for triggers is in this book Easton lies about hanging out with his ex. Which, might not be cheating, but isn't exactly faithful either. Then there is the fact that Easton is a recovering drug addict. There are a few other triggers in this book that I can't get into without major spoilers happening. Trying not to be that person.

I rate this book ❤❤❤❤❤

Big Daddy by K.C. Crowne

I don't know what is up with me and tear jerker novels. The synopsis did not prepare me for the level of feels in this book.

Brody and Kate are on opposing sides when it comes to a new freeway development, but they can't deny their attraction to each other. Soon they are friends with benefits, all while still fighting about the freeway. But, Brody has some serious problems and doesn't want to wrap Kate up in his life so he let's her go. Not too long later Kate finds out she's pregnant.

There was so much going on in this novel. I stayed up entirely too late reading it, because I just could not put it down.

This story was just so sad, if the author had not promised a HEA I don't know if I could have finished it. Totally worth the pain, though.

I rate this book ❤❤❤❤❤
