Rapid Fire Booktag

Just looking up and completing booktags. Don't mind me. As usual, I don't know who started this booktag. So, I'm not giving credit. I am not taking credit for this booktag, either. I find all my booktags on Pinterest. At this time, I have a whole board dedicated to booktags that I intend to do.

E-book or physical book
I have to say e-books. They are cheaper and they take up a lot less space. I have more than 3,000 books on my Kindle. Prior to 2010 my answer would have been physical book.

Paperback or hardback
Paperback, it's lightweight and it's not as big of a deal if you Crack the spine.

Online or in-store book shopping
Since I own a Kindle, all my book shopping is online. If I were to buy a physical book, I would be Thrift shopping for it.

Trilogies or series
Series, but standalone series. Where each book can be chosen by itself if wanted.

Heroes or villains
Usually heroes. Sometimes a good villain, though. Like Hate Me by A. Jade.

A book you want everyone to read
Right now it's The Husband Lottery by Sofia T. Summers

Recommend an underrated book
Well, I'm pretty sure they all are underrated.

The last book you finished
Christmas With The Older Man by Natasha L. Black

The last book you bought
Wrong by Adelaide Forrest be warned there are so many triggers in this book. I almost didn't finish it. It had a happy ending, though.

Weirdest thing you've used as a bookmark
I have books with old mail and books with dollars in them.

Used books: yes or no
I have no problem thrifting in every area of my life.

Top three favorite genres
Contemporary romance, historical romance, and Paranormal romance

Borrow or buy
It depends on the book and it depends on the price of the book.

Characters or plot
Plot? This is one of those "both" moments, but I'm pretty sure I can only pick one.

Long or short books
If those are the only choices, then long. In reality I like about 300 pages. That's not long, but it's not short either.

Long or short chapters
Long

Name the first three books you think of
1. Gifting Me To His Best Friend by Katee Robert
2. A Fake FiancĂ©e For Christmas by Ava Gray
3. The Accidental Kiss by Heatherly Bell

Books that make you laugh, or cry
Well, I like HEA, that said... I want to cry so much on the way there.

Our world or fictional world
Our world. I don't mind fictional places, but I'm not into aliens and elves. Give me real people or werewolves, I'll take that too.

Audiobooks: yes or no
Yes, but not often. I like audiobooks when I'm doing something else, most of the time I'm reading an e-book. All my audiobooks are free.

Do you ever judge a book by its cover
Absolutely, but that doesn't mean I'll like the book. If I don't like the cover I won't even give it a chance.

Book to movie, or TV-show adaptation
Depends. I felt like The Hobbit was very well done. But, then I like Bridgerton too. So, both?

Series or standalones
I only like series if the individual books can be read as standalones. I don't often finish a series and I don't want to feel like I'm missing out if I only read one book.

What Happened When I Started Reading To My Husband

When I was a teenager I read Hank The Cowdog and Captain Underpants to my younger siblings. Reading aloud was so simple then. My...
