The Bookish A-Z Booktag

As usual, I'm not sure who to credit with this booktag. If it is yours, please let me know so I can give you credit.

The blog I got this from intrigued me because they made this booktag smutty, which is what I'm going to do too.

Author you've read the most books from
Sofia T. Summers, Sofia Finn, K.C. Crowne, and Ava Gray. Oh you said one.

Best sequel
I don't usually read duets. Especially ones with cliff hangers. I did like the My Fiance's Brother Duet by Odette Stone.

Currently reading
Christmas With The Older Man by Natasha L. Black.

Drink of choice while reading
I like to think that I'm a tea drinker... but most of the time I'm actually drinking water.

E-reader or physical book
I used to say physical books. My husband bought me my first e-reader in 2010 and I never looked back. When I first got an e-reader paperbacks were about $6.00. Now they are more like $13.00, so the e-books are a lot cheaper to buy. Plus, Kindle Unlimited is totally worth $10.00.

Fictional character you probably would have dated in high school
Since I was not allowed to date back then, I couldn't say.

Glad you gave this book a chance
R.S. Elliot books. They always start real slow, then they finish spectacularly.

Hidden gem
I haven't really come across one yet. All my reads are by pretty prominent writers on Kindle. There are no obscure reads there.

Important moment in your reading life
There are two that really stand out. The moment reading "clicked" for me. And, the day my aunt introduced me to her extensive smut collection.

Just finished
Daddy's Temptation by Kelly Myers

Kind of books I won't read
I don't really like MC or mafia romance.

Longest book you've read
This, I'm not sure about. Kindle usually counts book pages just like a book's pages. Then you get the odd novel that says it's 8,000 pages when really it takes as long to read as a 300 page read.

Major book hangover because of
Oh. My. God! The Husband Lottery by Sofia T. Summers I had it sitting in my TBR list for awhile. I took the plunge. Now I'm reading a new book, but I'm stuck in the pages of this book.

Number of book cases you own
Don't hurt me, please. I don't have any bookshelves at the moment. When I moved in with my husband, my three bookshelves broke in the move. My husband's family has a bookshelf, but it is full of Bibles (held onto for purely sentimental reasons). We still have work to do on our house, but after our living room is done my husband has promised me bookshelves in the living room.

One book you've read multiple times
Romancing Mr. Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. I have read it four times and I can't wait for Colin and Penelope's story on the Netflix show.

Preferred place to read
If I had a big, fluffy, couch that is where I would read. As it is, I curl up in bed to read.

Quote that inspires you or gives you all the feels
"She wasn't perfect because I'd never fall in love with her, she was perfect because I was already in love with her." I don't remember the name of the book, and I didn't highlight this quote. It just stood out to me.

Reading regret
I regret not reading more classics. Although I have an app on my phone that has audiobook classics. I've started Emma by Jane Austen, but I keep getting distracted by e-books.

Series you started and need to finish
Maybe The Salacious Players Club by Sara Cate. I'm not sure that I'm going to read the last one.

Three of your all time favorite books
1.Knocked Up By The Rockstar by Christina Hovland
2. Good Hands by Kelly Jamison
3. Decidedly With Luck by Stina Lindenblatt

Unapologetic fangirl for
Werewolf reads. It's harder to find them since Kindle upped the quality of books available. I still look for them every chance I get. To a lesser extent I also fangirl over werebear romance as well.

Very excited for this release (more than all the others)
Shame by Skyler Mason it is an escape from purity culture romance. I've already read her book Purity, so I'm anxious to read this one.

X marks the spot: start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book
Again, I don't have bookshelves, however I did this to my Kindle and got Just One Night by Carly Phillips. I haven't read it yet. I bought this book, it's not on Kindle Unlimited. The urgency to read it isn't there.

Your latest book purchase
Baby Daddy by Kendall Ryan, it looks promising.

ZZZ snatcher book (AKA the last book that kept you up all night
This is every book, for me. If I'm reading, I'm definitely not sleeping. It just depends on the time of the day I start to read and how long the book is.
